Petchburi world class ART



When you want to take a rest, Where do you wanna go in the weekend? How to go? In that place what is the interesting? It's not far from Bangkok that can make it one day trip.

Petchburi is a very charm province loacted in the south of Bangkok around 166 Kms. It's contain tons of Art that we should miss for example the Palaces of the Kings, Thai dessert, the Live of Ayudhaya art and the beautiful beach.


Firstly, the Palace of the King that we have to go is the Phranakorn Kiri Palace (mean the capital of the mount). Phranakorn Kiri is constructed in the reign of King Rama 4 (King MongKut) for the 2nd palace to administrate Siam state. In Phranakorn Kiri, the architure is combined among Thai, Chinese and Western style. When you reach the top of Phranakorn Kiri, you can see King MongKut Statue and the bird-eye view of Petchburi town.

When you get down from the Pranakorn Kiri, your lunch time should start, the menu that you cannot miss the Kai Jew Moo sab (Omelet with pork), Tom Yam Kung and deep fried fish with fish sauce.

In the afternoon you can explore Ayudhaya Art at Wat Koh ,located at Petchburi River It's contain a lot of Thai Classical fine arts for example the roof and the gable of the ordination hall. In side the ordination you can see the mural painting that express the the story in Ayudhaya culture.

Late afternoon you can touch the breeze Chao Sam Ran beach (the joyful lord beach)., you can touch the sky, sand and sea. The environment their is clean and quiet, suit for to to take a break there.

In the evening, the attraction of Petchburi is Thai dinner and dessert. The most famous dinner is Phad Thai (stir fried noodle) and Kanom Mor Keang (pot dessert), it's Thai traditional dessert that you couldn't miss. The taste is not too sweet mix amoung taro, eggs and lotus beans.

To conclude for Petchburi trip, the place that you should visit is the Phranakorn Kiri that is the highlight of the town. Taste lunch for the deep fried fish then in the afetrnoon visit Wat Koh see the Ayudhaya Art and take a break at Chao Sam Ran beach. Lastly dinner in the market with Pad thai and Kanom Mor Keang.
